Pick two conventional reduction half-equations. Identify the more positive E° first; that fixes the reduction direction and tells you which half-equation to reverse for oxidation.
Choose two different redox couples to start.
Keep the notation conventional
Keep every E° label in the conventional reduction order used by the data table. Reverse the chemical half-equation when oxidation occurs, and leave the E° couple label in its standard order.
