Concentration, pressure and electrode potential

Change a half-cell away from standard conditions and predict what happens to the actual electrode potential. No Nernst equation: follow the redox equilibrium.

E versus E° lab

Move the equilibrium, then predict E

Standard and non-standard conditions

E° stays put; E belongs to the conditions you actually have

A standard electrode potential is defined for standard conditions. Dilution, concentration changes or gas-pressure changes move the half-cell equilibrium and therefore change the actual electrode potential, E. They do not rewrite the tabulated E° value.
